A neat piece of business footwork in The Scotsman’s business pages yesterday from Richard Masters, managing partner of McGrigors, the law firm.
Appearing in the ‘Seasonal Stocktake’ feature, Masters was asked: ‘What challenges will 2011 hold for your business?’
He replied: “The legal market is a hugely crowded and competitive marketplace. Our biggest job is communicating to clients, that, through our market-leading expertise in the energy, infrastructure and professional and financial services sectors, we offer something genuinely different.”
And to the next question: ‘What would help you overcome these challenge?’ Masters riposted: “A regular column in The Scotsman?”
