THE Scotsman is on the ‘penitent stool’ today after a slip-up in yesterday’s round up of birthdays.
In its Clarifications & Corrections column, it points out, ”we mistakenly said Robert Kerr, head teacher of Peebles High School, was 63″, going on to say: “He, in fact, died in December 2003. We apologise unreservedly for the error.”
