PAGE six of Friday’s edition of the Daily Record carried a pic of the comedian, Eddie Izzard, who has been running a series of Marathons, for the Sport Relief charity.
The previous day, he had been in Edinburgh, running up Arthur’s Seat, and unbeknown to the Record snapper, among Izzard’s three companions featured in the pic was… er, the chief features writer of rival, The Scottish Sun: Matt Bendoris.
“It pays to be close to your subject,” said Bendoris, afterwards.
