MEDIA Scotland Ltd, Scotland’s market-leading newspaper publishing group and the Daily Record and Sunday Mail’s award-winning website has a vacancy for a Deputy Online Editor.
You will help to lead the Daily Record and Sunday Mail digital team, providing multimedia content for our web and mobile platforms.
As you will deputise for the Online Editor, you must have extensive journalistic and leadership experience in a fast-paced newspaper and/or news website environment.
You will have superior writing and editing skills, together with excellent news judgment, coaching and teamwork skills, and a good knowledge of social media.
Help us to continue to grow our digital audience through great storytelling, video, pictures and blogging.
This is a key role with responsibility and comes with a salary to match.
Based in our modern offices in central Glasgow, the position offers a highly competitive remuneration package including excellent salary, pension scheme, seven weeks annual holiday and free on-site gymnasium and car park.
