Tommy Fitzpatrick, who was a Scottish Daily Express photographer for 25 years, has died, aged 76.
Says the paper, after the Daily Express, Fitzpatrick was one of the founders of the short-lived Scottish Daily News, but later moved to the Evening Times where he was deputy picture editor until his retirement 11 years ago.
Adds the paper, a print of his award-winning photograph of the skeletal remains of a burglar, found in a chimney when a Glasgow factory was being demolished, occupied a prominent position in the Glasgow Press Club for many years.
