NEW features and functionality can be now enjoyed on allmediascotland.com, following the unveiling, at the weekend, of a fresh look.
Developed by Digital Partners – in conjunction with graphic designer, Matthew Ball – today’s allmediascotland builds on two previous versions. For six years, the site has sought to provide readers with Scottish media news, trenchant opinion, useful information and the occasional laugh.
Central to the new look is round-the-clock allmediascotland news (as opposed to the previous, once per day posting), allied to a steady stream of story ideas from external organisations.
Later today, around 1pm, the pick of the media stories in the press – the service began on Friday. Around the same time there will be a deeper review of the Guardian. Tomorrow’s pick of the press will be the Scottish Daily Express.
‘Ten questions for’ becomes a regular rather than occasional feature. It is joined by ‘Spotlight on… ‘, ‘In my opinion’, ‘In our opinion’ and ‘Advice’. Enjoy the site’s five bloggers.
Soon, there are to be weekly podcasts on the hot media topics of the day. And a new Forum will be also soon up and running, so you can start your own debates.
Enjoy Joe Owens’ review of ‘The remarkable lives of Bill Deedes – The authorised biography’.
As before, there is a media services directory, but it is to enjoy a much-higher profile.
In the meantime, profound thanks to allmediascotland.com’s many supporters – including media release subscribers, advertisers and story sources. Without you, AMS would nothing.
PS Any teething problems? Let us know. And – very soon – the eNewsletter that used to operate on allmediascotland.com will be back.
