THE top of Mont Blanc, in the French Alps, proved the ideal setting for a STV presenter to propose marriage to his colleague.
Based at STV’s Aberdeen studios, Chris Harvey and Laura Goodwin are now set to marry this summer.
Said Chris: “I tricked Laura into believing I had planned a night out in Edinburgh, but on the way there I surprised her by pulling into Edinburgh airport instead.
“It wasn’t until we were at the gate she realised that I’d actually booked a flight to Geneva.”
