THE well-known columnist on the Daily Record, Tam Cowan, is leaving.

Cowan – who also appears as a co-presenter on the BBC Radio Scotland football show, Off the Ball – writes a column for the paper on a Wednesday.

He also does a sports column and a restaurant review and has been with the paper for several years.

It’s not known when exactly he’s leaving and it’s being speculated he might end up at rival, The Scottish Sun.
