THE Scots freelance photographer, Ian MacNicol, has been awarded Highly Commended in an UK-wide competition celebrating the best of newspaper photography.
MacNicol finished runner up to Adrian Dennis, of Agence France-Presse, in the Sports Photographer of the Year category of the UK Picture Editors’ Guild Awards.
