JOURNALIST, Myra Philp, has returned to Scotland after working in the Middle East for two years – for the daily newspaper, 7DAYS in Dubai.
Philp, who has 30 years experience in the industry, has set up her own agency, East Scotland News, and will be seeking out exclusives in East Central Scotland from her base in Fife.
The former Scottish Sun news reporter and Daily Express executive news editor said: “I’ve been humbled by the messages of support from colleagues and already been busy on doorsteps in places like Stirling, Forfar, Dundee, Dunfermline, Glenrothes and Kelty for newsdesks.
“Fife, Tayside and Perthshire are full of news and I’m looking forward to covering it.”
