SENIOR lawyers are reportedly urging Scottish Courts to allow the Press to challenge gagging orders.
Writes Stephen McGinty, in today’s Scotsman, plans to make proceedings in Scottish courts more transparent to the public, by allowing the media to challenge gagging orders before they are imposed, have been backed by the Faculty of Advocates.
