THE editor of The Scottish Sun, Andy Harries, is to become editor of the Scottish Daily Mail – succeeding Chris Williams, who is retiring.
To be succeeded himself by the Scots editor of the celebrity Bizarre column in The Sun – Gordon Smart – the move represents a return for Harries to the Scottish Daily Mail, where he was deputy editor.
He has been editor of The Scottish Sun for three years, taking over from David Dinsmore, who is now editor of The Sun, UK-wide.
