THE Herald newspaper has increased its cover price, by 10p to £1.20, but it is promising “improvements and expanded content” in return.
The paper initially explains that the price increase is down to “significant increases in production costs”, but adds the price rise is being accompanied by, among other things, four extra pages of sports coverage and an expanded Herald Social section.
