THE UK sales figures for newspapers between January and last month saw the Sunday Mail sell an average 288,054 copies, down 13.76 per cent on the average net circulation for 12 months’ previously, January to June 2012.
According to the Audit Bureau of Circulation, the UK figures for the country’s main newspaper titles read as follows:
Daily Mirror – average net circulation, January to June – 1,040,728; down 4.63 per cent on the corresponding figure from 12 months’ previously;
Daily Record – 254,747; down 9.44 per cent;
Daily Star – 535,178; down 12.63 per cent;
The Sun – 2,288,486; down 12.72 per cent;
Daily Express – 526,406; down 9.47;
Daily Mail – 1,817,087; down 7.24 per cent;
Daily Telegraph – 546,943; down 5.49 per cent;
Financial Times – 266,193; down 14.04 per cent;
Guardian – 193,916; down 10.51 per cent;
i – 301,802; up 12.62 per cent;
Independent – 75,034; down 25.07 per cent;
Times – 395,571; down 0.46 per cent;
Daily Star Sunday – 336,024; down 35.39 per cent;
The Sun (Sunday) – 1,914,475; n/a;
Sunday Mail – 288,054; down 13.76 per cent;
