A TRAINING course on feature writing – including how to pitch feature ideas – is being hosted by the National Union of Journalists (Scotland).
The training, on the fifth of next month, is being hosted by Jean Rafferty and, says the NUJ, “is for anyone who would benefit from understanding the principles and actions behind successful features”.
Adds the NUJ, the training “covers writing with style for professional publications and includes sessions on building a story, structure, interviewing and pitching”.
It continues: “Every aspect of writing outstanding features will be covered, from understanding your audience, publication and subject, to research, writing and interview skills.”
The course costs £100 for NUJ members and £160.00 for non-members.
