THE Times newspaper has continued to buck the trend of falling year-on-year newspaper sales by registering a second, successive monthly increase.
But, says the Audit Bureau of Circulation, while the title saw its average sale in Scotland rise by an average 1.6 per cent between March last year and two months ago, the corresponding April 2012-April 2013 increase was 0.07 per cent.
The Times again was joining the i newspaper which has, for some time, seen its year-on-year sales in Scotland figure rising.
