A NEW advertising inserts service is being launched by the Dundee-based newspapers, comics and magazines publisher, DC Thomson.
It follows the coming on-stream last year of a new printing facility.
Says a DC Thomson media release: “[Our] new all-in-one mailroom solution will trim, fold and stitch inserts of commercial quality.”
DC Thomson titles include The Courier, The Press and Journal and The Sunday Post.
Head of commercial, Mark Hopkins, is quoted, as saying: “Our incredible new printing facility in Dundee will allow us to provide more for our customers in the shape of stitched or loose supplements and inserts.
“Our dedicated in-house inserts team will be able to plan an insert from design, through production, to delivery within our clients’ campaign timescales.
“It means our customers will only have to speak to one person to co-ordinate their insert activity across the DC Thomson portfolio – we really will be a one-stop-shop for advertisers.”
