THE journalist, George Mair, is setting up a freelance news agency.
It follows his moving on from The Central Scotland News Agency, after 15 years with it.
Contrary to a brief suggestion on allmediascotland.com yesterday, he is not retiring.
The 38 year-old has set up Saltire News and Sport Ltd, based in Edinburgh.
He will be covering news and features across Scotland.
He told allmediascotland.com: “I want to build on the good relationships I have developed over the years, including with news desks.”
