A FORMER news editor at the Daily Record and Sunday Mail newspapers has returned to his former stomping ground, the Daily Mirror.
Andy Lines has been appointed chief reporter at the Mirror, joining from communications agency, Glasgow-based Media House.
Three years ago, Lines joined Media House as head of its London office. He is a former news editor and also a former US editor of the Mirror.
Reports the Press Gazette: “Lines, who once scooped a world exclusive interview after doorstepping US president, Bill Clinton, was US editor of The Mirror from 1997-2001 where he was shortlisted as reporter of the year at the British Journalism Awards for his work covering 9/11.”
