IN August, it was reported that The Herald newspaper and its Sunday sister, the Sunday Herald, both elected to be considered ‘regional’ rather than ‘national’ titles – as far as sales auditing body, the Audit Bureau of Circulation, was concerned.
It meant the pair’s sales performance in Scotland were no longer being made public monthly, but six-monthly.
And later today, the Audit Bureau of Circulation is expected to release the latest sales performance of the two titles, along with the likes of the Clydebank Post, The Press and Journal and the Midlothian Advertiser.
It will be the first time since August the pair’s sales figures have been made public.
