THERE, but for the grace of God. At first glance, it looked like a perfectly balanced double-page spread, comprising letters, a column from Alan Taylor, and a lovely autumnal pic.
And then there was the giveaway. Readers of today’s edition of The Herald may have noticed this morning a slight juxtaposition: page 14 dated November 15 and page 15 dated November 14.
Prompting, no doubt, chuckling in some quarters and consternation in others.
That said, Alan Taylor’s column was worth a second read.
We’ve all been there.
