READERS of The Courier newspaper who might have had difficulties picking up a copy of the paper yesterday have had the reason revealed this morning.
Says the paper on page five today: “Due to production problems in the early hours of yesterday morning some Courier readers may not have received the depth of local coverage they would normally have expected. Some deliveries were also delayed in the Fife, Angus and Dundee areas.
“We are continuing to invest in new print facilities in Dundee and are working hard to ensure such problems do not affect readers’ enjoyment of The Courier in the future.
“We apologise for the inconvenience caused by yesterday’s difficulties. All relevant stories missed from yesterday’s editions have been included today.”
