THE recent editor of the free, Scotland-wide student magazine, Scotcampus, has started work as marketing and communications manager at food inspection and certification body, Scottish Food Quality Certification.
Chris Hammond began his new post on Monday. He had been editor of Scotcampus for three years. The magazine is published bi-monthly and is distributed to over 400 outlets across Scotland.
SFQC is an independent company based in Edinburgh specialising in the inspection and certification of food production, processing and environmental operations across the UK.
At Scotcampus, he has been succeeded by his assistant editor when he was in charge, Jennifer Lynn, who joined three months ago from Glamour magazine, where she was a writer on the features desk.
Lynn’s first edition of Scotcampus is a graduate recruitment special out next month.
Scotcampus last year celebrated its tenth birthday.
