Journalists resplendent as they tackle cycling velodrome

TWO are pictured wearing t-shirts, brandishing their newspaper’s masthead, while another two are sporting tops bearing the name of a cycle wear brand.

The scene was the new cycling velodrome in Glasgow and several Scots journalists were yesterday given the chance to try out its steep banking.

So, catch a glimpse of Stuart Bathgate’s legs on page 53 of The Scotsman, or those of Niamh Anderson and Kenny Angove on pages 14 and 15 of The Scottish Sun, plus the pegs of Gordon Parks on pages 20 and 21 of the Daily Record.

Oo-er…

Earlier this month, The Herald’s Susan Swarbrick was the first journalist to officially give the velodrome a spin.
