A BUSINESS development manager at Johnston Press, publishers of The Scotsman, is moving from Edinburgh to Glasgow, to join The Herald group of newspapers.
Lindsay Bunney is joining his colleague, Hilary Douglas, who has recently made a similar east-west switch, as head of advertising at The Herald group of newspapers.
Bunney joined The Scotsman group of newspapers – The Scotsman, Scotland on Sunday and the Edinburgh Evening News – in January last year, following 16 years working in the banking sector, latterly in corporate finance involving property and land development.
With his wife, Lyndsey, he is soon launching a quarterly magazine aimed at the corporate travel market, on the back of a soon-to-launch website, www.CityTravellerUk.com.
In his new role, he’ll be helping develop The Herald – which currently produces a monthly business supplement – as a business brand. At The Scotsman, he sourced business advertorial.
He starts on Monday.
