THE former MSP and head of group communications at RBS Group, Andrew Wilson, has been named a new columnist on Scotland on Sunday.
Wilson, who represented the SNP in the Scottish Parliament, is a director of Motherwell FC and is believed to be now with advertising giants, WPP, in what is described as a ‘client-facing role’.
He succeeds Duncan Hamilton who, it is understood, is stepping down, due to work commitments.
Wilson’s first column is this Sunday.
His appointment was announced via Twitter earlier today by the paper’s deputy editor, Kenny Farquharson.
