THE Rangers Football Club manager, Ally McCoist, is reportedly another suspected victim of phone hacking by the now closed News of the World newspaper.
Splashes the Daily Record this morning, McCoist is said to have been contacted by officers from the Met and Strathclyde Police.
The paper adds he joins a list of other Scots whose phones are suspected of having been hacked into, including former First Minister, Jack McConnell, SNP MSP, Joan McAlpine, actor Sean Connery and former STV presenter, Sarah Heaney.
The News of the World was closed down in July amid allegations of phone hacking, which then led to the setting up of the Leveson Inquiry into Press standards.
