A BOOK on the art of football management has been shortlisted in a competition celebrating the best of British sports books.
‘The Management: Scotland’s Great Football Bosses’, by The Herald’s Michael Grant and the Scottish Daily Mail’s Rob Robertson, has been nominated in the Football Books category of the British Sports Book Awards.
It is up against five other contenders, with the winner unveiled on the 21st of next month.
Also among the nominees are Scots sports writer, Neil Drysdale, with The Story of Borders Rugby (rugby category), and Scots cyclist, David Millar (autobiography/biography category).
