THE Scots journalist, Lachlan MacKinnon, has stepped down as health correspondent of the Daily Mirror.
His last day in the job was Friday. He successfully applied for voluntary redundancy after almost ten years with publishers, Trinity Mirror, initially in Glasgow – as a former news and health reporter for the Daily Record – and then in London with the Mirror.
He is returning to Scotland, to freelance with a view to perhaps working in PR.
