THE communications manager at Heart of Midlothian football club, Paul Kiddie, has been recognised for his club’s matchday programme.
Reports the Hearts website, Kiddie has been named the best editor in the Scottish Premier League by the Northumberland-based North Programme Club. It follows a similar award for the programme last season, this time issued by souvenir and memorabilia specialists, www.gpfootball.com.
Says NPC co-founder and secretary, Jack Mitton: “The Hearts programme has seen significant improvements in the last two seasons and the changes have been phenomenal, to be honest. The new smaller size is ideal, although no content has been lost. The changes have been overseen by an enthusiastic and committed team lead by Paul and their reward has also seen the programme clinch a top three place in the overall Scottish section.”
Taking the honours in the Scots First, Second and Third divisions were Falkirk, Forfar Athletic and Clyde.
