THEY begin rehearsals this week and there’s 18 weeks to go before they are scheduled to play at the iconic T in the Park music festival.
Guided by a group of mentors, five Sunday Herald journalists – none with any previous musical experience – are to perform as a band at the festival, including poltical correspondent, Stewart Paterson.
He is being joined by production journalist, Ken McNab; reporter, Rachel Loxton; photographer, Stewart Attwood; and columnist and reporter, Catriona Stewart.
Says the paper, the band has yet to be named; suggestions welcome. Neither have songs been chosen.
