THE celebrity, Ulrika Jonsson, has stepped in for TV presenter, Lorraine Kelly, who was injured in a horseriding accident earlier this week, to pen Kelly’s regular column for today’s The Scottish Sun.
And as well as wishing Kelly a speedy recovery, Jonsson devotes most of her column to… being a celebrity and how ‘there’s nothing that gets her back up more than a dumb woman who wants to be famous for the sake of being famous’.
And by way of comparison, she pays tribute to Marie Colvin, the Sunday Times war correspondent who was killed on Wednesday while covering the conflict in Syria.
She writes: “Now there’s a woman who is not only valiant, bold and undaunted by the conditions and perils of war but who undertook her job for neither fame nor fortune.”
