A VERSION of the song, Tomorrow, from the musical, Annie, is to appear on TV screens tonight, to promote the launch of The Scottish Sun on Sunday … tomorrow.
Says today’s edition of the paper, in a two-page promotion, the advert features people from Edinburgh, London, Dublin and Manchester singing the song.
The Sun on Sunday succeeds the News of the World, which was closed in July amid phone-hacking allegations.
And the Scottish edition is to include BBC Scotland newsreader, Catriona Shearer, among its columnists, who will be sharing her views on the news.
Lawyer, Paul McBride QC, is also being promoted as a columnist.
Shearer is the subject of a double-page spread in today’s The Scottish Sun. She is reported getting into clay pigeon shooting and so her promise for tomorrow is to ‘give it both barrels’.
Also across two pages, rival, the Daily Record, reminds readers that its sister title, the Sunday Mail, is Scotland’s biggest-selling newspaper and that it is ‘a Scottish paper that fights for you’.
