A RECENT sportswriter at the Scottish Daily Mail has this week started his new job: as communications manager at the governing body for Scottish Athletics.
The appointment of Peter Jardine at scottishathletics had long been known within newspaper circles, and he finally took up his posting, after almost 15 years at the Scottish Daily Mail, the last eight of them as chief football writer.
He joined the SDM following three years, between 1993 and 1997, as Scottish sports correspondent at the Press Association.
