THE Scots editor of a farming title has emerged a winner at a UK-wide magazine awards ceremony.
Emma Penny, from Clola in Aberdeenshire, last night won the Editor of the Year prize in the business and professional magazines (weekly) section at the British Society of Magazine Editors Awards.
Penny is the editor of the Preston-based Farmers Guardian, which is owned by UBM.
The Farmers Guardian was also highly commended in the innovation and brand-building initiative section at the awards, where it was runner-up to Cosmopolitan.
