If the proposed 90 editorial job cuts at the Daily Record and Sunday Mail newspapers has plunged the Scottish newspaper industry into a depression, there is little evidence in today’s press.
The Herald and The Scotsman both give the story some prominence. There is no mention in the Scottish Sun and, perhaps not surprising, there is no mention in the Record itself, nor in its sister title, the Daily Mirror.
