The second novel by Scotland on Sunday's multi award-winning writer, Catherine Deveney, has just been published.
Kiss the Bullet is partly inspired by the Deveney's interviews with real-life victims of terrorism, and involves her main character, Danni, revisiting the death of her husband and three year-old son 18 years ago by an IRA bomb.
The publicity asks: Could you fall in love with the man who killed your family?
Says a statement from the publishers: “Fast-paced, emotionally pitch-perfect and with a heart-wrenching ending, Kiss the Bullet is a thriller as gripping, intelligent and satisfying as they come from an author destined for superstardom.”
Her debut novel is titled, Ties that Bind.
Among Deveney's many awards is the Journalist of the Year title at the Scottish Press Awards.
