Scots journalist-turned-politician, Graeme Dey, has already seized a rung on the political promotion ladder -just a month after being elected to the Scottish Parliament.
Reports the Press & Journal newspaper, Dey – the Aberdeen-born former sports editor of Dundee-based regional daily, The Courier – has been appointed an SNP deputy chief whip.
The 48 year-old won the Angus South seat for the SNP with a majority of 10,583 – capturing 58.47 per cent of the overall vote.
