A CELEBRATION of the life of photographer, Steve Lindridge, who died suddenly last week, aged 50, is taking place on Sunday.
Hugely popular – as evidenced by various tributes, here – Lindridge was a freelancer, probably best known for his work with Commonwealth Games Scotland.
While his funeral will be a small, family event in Perth, where he lived, the memorial celebration – taking place in Dunblane – is open to friends, family and colleagues to share their recollections of him.
The event is informal, with guests asked not to wear black, bring flowers or be sombre. Lindridge died of a suspected heart attack.
It is taking place at Dunblane Hydro Hotel, on Sunday, between 4pm and 6pm. Those wishing to attend are being asked to contact his brother-in-law, Paul Dimeo, at paul.dimeo@stir.ac.uk
One way of remembering Steve would be donate to a charity he did some work for. Lemon Aid provides resources for Haiti and, having already been out there since it suffered a devastating earthquake last year, Steve had been due to make a repeat visit this month.
