The magazine for staff working in the NHS support organisation – NHS National Services Scotland – is to have a new look, from February.
It follows the winning of the contract to publish the magazine by Paisley-based Connect Communications.
NHS National Services Scotland is a health board providing and co-ordinating national and specialist services to support Scotland’s health. These services include the blood transfusion service, advice on hand hygiene and delivering supplies to all of Scotland’s hospitals.
And Connect will handle the copywriting, editing, design, print and distribution services of the organisation's bi-monthly magazine, Pulse.
Connect already produces staff publications for NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, NHS Lanarkshire, NHS Lothian and NHS 24.
Connect is one of the UK’s leading contract publishing and creative communication companies, providing a comprehensive range of services to more than 50 clients. Its services include advertising sales, editorial and communications consultancy and publishing.
Last year, it produced more that 300 separate publications with a combined circulation of about four million.
