Although Express Newspapers publisher, Richard Desmond, is reported to have called a halt to his two-year price war – with rises for the Daily Star and Daily Express taking place from today – by increasing in price by only 5p, to 25p, The Scottish Daily Express continues to be the least expensive of the Scottish tabloids.
Meanwhile, sister title, the Daily Star of Scotland, is also going up in price today, by 10p to 30p.
