A writer on The Herald has been named top 'regional wine writer of the year' at arguably the most prestigious international awards ceremony for wine writers.
Tom Bruce-Gardyne, who writes a weekly column on wine and booze for Saturday edition of The Herald, received his accolade at the Louis Roederer International Wine Writers’ Awards, which took place on the 39th and 40th floor of ‘The Gherkin’, in London, and was attended by wine writers, journalists, members of the wine trade and publishers from around the world.
