TWO former Scotsman journalists have been shortlisted this week in the prestigious British Press Awards to be held at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London next month.
Sunday Times Africa correspondent, Dan McDougall, has been shortlisted in the Foreign Correspondent of the Year category for the third year running.
McDougall won the title last year for undercover investigations in India, China and the Afghan border.
He is joined by his Sunday Times colleague, Iain Dey who is nominated in the Financial and Business reporter of the Year category.
McDougall’s latest Panorama documentary, More than Just a Game, looking at South Africa’s gangland underworld, is to air on BBC 1 on Monday at 8.30pm.
The awards are co-run by Press Gazette. The winners are to be announced on the 23rd of next month.
