A PAY review that would normally take place at the publishers of The Scotsman newspapers has been put off for six months.
The resulting pay freeze by Johnston Press is reported by HoldtheFrontPage website to have been announced to staff yesterday morning.
The website quotes a company statement: “In view of the continued uncertainty in advertising revenues, 2010 pay reviews will be deferred for a period of six months for all UK-based employees.”
