THE evening newspaper for Edinburgh is launching a new take on an long-established service: its recruitment section is being revamped as part of a campaign to ‘get the city back to work’.
The Edinburgh Evening News’ ‘Get Edinburgh Back to Work’ initiative, beginning on Monday, is offering companies the chance to advertise job vacancies for as little as £59 – the price dependent on the salary being paid.
Says the paper, the prices represent a reduction of over 70 per cent on its pre-offer rate card. Vacancies appear in the Thursday edition of the paper, and they will also go on www.scotsman.com/jobs.
The Edinburgh Evening News sells an average of over 46,000 copies per day. Its recruitment section boosts circulation by an average 11 per cent.
