A NEW football magazine, focusing on Scotland, has officially launched with an online offering that is expected to be followed by a print version.
‘Eleven’, published by Match Day Media, aims to follow the sport from the top level to grassroots and features Scotland goalkeeper, Craig Gordon, as the cover star of its inaugural edition.
It is the latest in a line of attempts to corner the Scottish football market, dominated by Celtic and Rangers in-house publications.
Falkirk-based publisher, Tryptch, launched its ‘Players Lounge’ magazine earlier this year.
It is distributed free, monthly to players, managers, assistant managers, coaches, goalkeeping coaches, fitness coaches, physios, doctors, youth coaches, scouts, directors and board members at over 180 clubs in 11 senior leagues across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, as well as to agents, broadcast media professionals and football association members.
