The newsagents' representative body, the National Federation of Retail Newsagents, has a new chief executive.
The UK-wide organisation has taken on Paul Baxter, who will bringing to his new role, says the NFRN, “a wealth of experience in the retail trade, having held senior posts within several of the country’s leading retailers”.
Says a statement issued by the NFRN: “He was a director for TM Retail for five years, during which time he developed and launched McColl's Convenience Stores and Martins Newsagents having previously been commercial director for Alldays. In addition, during a 27 year career, he has worked for Somerfield, Safeway and Sainsbury.”
