FIRSTLY, congratulations to former political editor of The Sunday Post, Campbell Gunn.
Following a three-year spell as a senior special advisor to successive First Ministers, Alex Salmond and Nicola Sturgeon, he has taken on the role of strategic adviser at the Scots comms agency, 3×1 Group.
He teams up with 3×1 director, Lindsay McGarvie, head of public affairs at the 30-strong consultancy. McGarvie is a former political editor of the Sunday Mail.

AND congratulations too to Paris Gourtsoyannis who, just before the EU referendum, took up the role of Westminster correspondent for The Scotsman and sister title, Scotland on Sunday.
He was previously a reporter on the Scotland staff of The Times.
