‘DEBATES you don’t get on the TV’ is the billing being given to a show at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe being co-hosted by Scots journalist, Lesley Riddoch.
The columnist on The Scotsman and The Sunday Post, who used to host her own lunchtime news and current affairs programme on BBC Radio Scotland, is half the team behind The Scottish Six – which harks to a long-standing debate about whether there should be an exclusively Scotland-produced BBC Six O’Clock News.
Also involved is Andy Wightman, who describes himself as a “writer, researcher, analyst, commentator and activist on issues of land, power, governance, democracy and money”.
The show runs from next Tuesday until Friday the 24th (with a break over the weekend, the 18th and 19th).
