A MEET-the-media gathering staged by the organisers of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe has, says The Scotsman newspaper today, “become a must-do event for performers, publicists and promoters”.
And adds the paper: “And the, immodest as it may be to mention it, longest queues by far are to meet some of the staff of The Scotsman covering this year’s Fringe.”
Writes Brian Ferguson, the “best, slightly implausible, publicity stunt I’ve heard for a Fringe show” is that of Andrew Cox: launching it in space.
